Structure
Each course consists of 5 study units which are designed to contain a minimum of 3 ½ hours of content each and to be taken once a week resulting in approximately 18 “in the electronic classroom” hours. This schedule may be accelerated if you achieve specified academic standards and the course tutor gives permission. You only progress from one lesson to the next when you’ve completed the previous one. It’s a tried-and-tested learning method that means you’ll always be confident about what you learn.

Assessment
Each study unit is assessed on-line and if the course is taken for university level credit AIBS Online requires students to complete a final comprehensive written examination, which is conducted externally.
